Production Manager
Fort Wayne Newspapers, one of the largest publishing concerns in northeastern Indiana, publishes two daily newspapers, The News-Sentinel and The Journal Gazette, Fort Wayne Magazine and offers commercial printing. The company is seeking a strong leader to proactively manage its pressroom operation and potential production manager responsibilities. You will be working in a production facility that is less than six years old with TKS press and CTP operations.

Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate must possess a working knowledge of pressroom equipment, the ability to motivate and lead a production employees to meet and exceed production goals, willing to learn and be hands-on with equipment. This position has responsibility for commercial goals, scheduling of all product production, sustaining high quality standards while assuring safety policies and OSHA guidelines are met. The ability to bridge communication between the production staff and relevant departments is crucial to producing quality products and profit. If you are an energetic pressroom manager and trapped behind an experienced production manager, this is an opportunity for you to move up and into the spotlight, press experience preferred.
