We are considering inserting our Thanksgiving single copy using our NP630s instead of doing it by hand. The number of preprints and the total page count for Thanksgiving looks like it will be significantly less this year, although advertisers are waiting till the last minute to schedule their inserts, so we are just guessing how big the Black Friday insert pack will be.
In the past, we found that the biggest packs we could get through the 630s was about 2.0 to 2.25 lbs or about 250 - 300 broadsheet pages. The biggest problem is the delivery at the stackers (Quipp 301s).
Anybody else with 630s inserting their Thanksgiving papers?
