Remembering my beloved sister Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Grzywacz
« on: August 28, 2017, 03:16:54 PM »
Grzywacz, Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 55, on June 22, 2017 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. She was born on May 6, 1962 in Detroit. Beloved wife of 29 years to George; loving mother of George Jr., Joseph and Luke Grzywacz; loving daughter of Josephine and the late James Czarnik; dear sister of John (Theresa) Czarnik, Jill Reed and Jeff (Lisa) Czarnik; dear sister in law of Thomas (Pam), Vincent (Terri), Steven, Anne Marie (Maxim) Melnik, James and Jacquelyn (Erine) Brito. Jackie will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jackie was an employee with the Macomb Daily since she was 16 years old. She started out as a co-op student from Chippewa Valley High School as a circulation clerk. Through her 39 years of service, she moved up the company ladder and became a Director of Warehouse Operations at the Oakland Press and the Pre-Print Manager for Digital First Media. Jackie was passionate about her job and the people she worked with, but there was nothing she was more passionate about than her family. She was truly the heart of her family and would move the world to make them happy. Jackie had the most amazing sense of humor, a contagious laugh, killer dance moves and a beautiful soul. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; cooking for holidays, her shows (Sons of Anarchy and the Bachelor), her annual shopping trip up to Birch Run, playing backyard Volleyball and screaming "I'll go!" whenever the ball came near her, and having relaxing days spent making wonderful memories with her family and friends. Jackie had an uncanny ability to reach people in deep and positive ways. Every room she walked into lit up with her presence. Jackie will always be with us in our thoughts and her love will carry on in our hearts and actions. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Road (north of 22 Mile) Shelby Twp. Instate at the church on Monday 9 a.m. until Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church 40501 Hayes Rd. (south of 18 Mile) Sterling Heights. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery 18201 Clinton River Rd, Charter Twp of Clinton, MI 48038.
